Lately

This morning before church Braylen was playing upstairs coloring!! I just thought he had outgrown the coloring on the walls. Well I guess he really has!! Only now he is coloring on the TV!!!! Thank goodness it washed off!!!! Let's just say I was NOT happy with him!!!!!

On a better note.....Braylen and Sarah are really starting to have so much fun playing together. They laugh and laugh at each other. Yes Braylen can still be a little bossy! Like saying "no mam Sarah!" haha It is just melts my heart to see them love each other so much!! I hope they only get closer as they get older and love each other more and more!!!!!

Get Well Soon Nana!!!!

My mom (Nana) slipped yesterday walking up the steps to her house and broke her ankle. She is at DCH and had surgery this morning. She is still in a lot of pain and they still aren't sure when she is going home. Please say a prayer for her that it heals quickly and the pain goes away soon.

*I tried to get a picture of the kids holding their card for Nana, but this is all I could get! oh well we tried!!!!

Picnic

We decided to get out of the house for lunch and have a picnic with Ms.Razel and little Franklin. We enjoyed it but it didn't last long! It was HOT HOT!!!!! We are so blessed to have such great neighbors and friends to spend so much time with!!! We can't wait for Franklin's new brother/sister to get here.

Hot Hot Hot!!!!!

It has been so very hot outside these past few days. I decided yesterday that we couldn't play outside anymore for a while unless we had water to keep us cool. I headed to Target early and picked up this fun pool for the kiddos to stay cool in. They had so much fun!!! Their friend Franklin even came to play in the water too.

Beach Trip

We had a blast on our trip to the beach last week. Nana, Pop, Mimi, Gregpa, Jacob and Joy all came down for a couple of days to play with the kiddos on the beach. We took so many pictures!!!! Braylen loved the beach and pool the second we walked outside. Sarah on the other hand didn't. It took her a day or two to get used to the water and sand. Plus she caught the virus right before we left so she didn't feel great when we first got there. We didn't want to leave and enjoyed such yummy food!!!

Braylen got new sunglasses when we got to the beach. He wore them the whole time. He even would sleep in the car with them.

We all got dressed up to get some beautiful beach pictures. We got a few at least until Braylen decided to go swimming in his clothes.

Braylen is sick

We knew something was wrong yesterday when Braylen didn't want to play outside. He just wanted to lay on the sofa and watch a movie. That is so not like him. If he is watching a movie he is playing too. We took his temperature and it was 102. I called the Dr and they said to give him Motrin and come in today if he still had fever. He did so to the doctor we went. Luckily no strep, but he does have a virus. He said he should be better before the weekend but to keep him away from Sarah. Is that really possible? NO!!!!! Anyway, pray that he gets better quick and no one else gets it because we leave for the beach on Saturday morning. Yay!!!!

Monday morning Braylen decided to wake everyone up at 5:30 AM!!! So we were all up doing our thing and Sarah was crawling everywhere. I saw her go towards the stairs so I finished up what I was doing and was getting up to go get her and I heard her fall. She started SCREAMING!!!!! She couldn't have been up any higher than the first or second step, but her poor head looks like she was at the top. She was really upset for a while then she let me put some ice on it. Today it looks so much better!!! Still a little black and blue but you can tell it is healing quick!! Thank goodness that is all that happened. It could have been so much worse! Oh and FYI the baby gate is up now!!!!!
