Visitors & H1N1

Last Friday night Ava Grace, Nikki & Nana came to visit. Daddy went to the Lake and Kyle and Pop stayed home so we had a girls weekend with the kiddos. Braylen and Sarah were SO EXCITED when Ava Grace got here. They had so much fun playing together. It is so sweet to see how much they love each other.

We did manage to fit it shopping and the Pumpkin Patch before H1N1 set in with Braylen and Ava Grace. Here is how it started....Braylen had a low grade fever on Saturday morning but I didn't think much about it because it was a little under 100 degrees so we headed out for a busy day. During lunch the fever came back and Braylen felt awful!!! We called the nurse and she said it was more than likely a bad cold. (ha!) so all 3 kiddos napped and we played and ate pizza that night. At 3:00 am Braylen woke up with a high fever again and stayed up watching TV until 6:00. At 6:00 Ava Grace woke up with a fever and threw up. We decided to take them to the Walk-in Clinic and they did a flu test and told us what we DID NOT want to hear H1N1. How Sarah hasn't caught it is just a blessing!!! Braylen is back to normal now and hopefully going back to school tomorrow.

Home Sweet Home

We are back home after a long weekend in Alabama with Nana & Pop. The kids and I left at lunch on Friday and came home Monday afternoon. They had so much fun playing at Nana's and eating all kinds of junk food :) We are glad to be back home in our own beds but we sure do miss Nana & Pop.

The kiddos were both so happy to be sleeping in their own rooms that they BOTH slept until 8:15 this morning!!! THAT NEVER HAPPENS!!!!! If they ever sleep until 8:00 then the other one is up well before 7:00. Needless to say I sleep until they woke me up at 8:15 too.

Sesame Street Live

Today we went with Nana to Sesame Street Live in Birmingham. Sarah LOVES Sesame Street and for the past 6 months or so Braylen has really started liking it too. I was a little nervous about Sarah going because I didn't think she would be still long enough for the show especially with it being at nap time. But....They BOTH did GREAT!!!!! They loved it! Sarah could not take her eyes off of it. Braylen really enjoyed clapping and watching all the characters dance and sing. It was well worth the trip!!!! Enjoy the pictures!

Braylen's 3rd Birthday Party

We had Braylen's birthday party Sunday at the park. It was PERFECT weather for a party at the park. Braylen had so much fun playing with his friends and family, eating cake and opening gifts. He has been talking about his party for weeks now and was so excited about it when Sunday arrived. I asked him on the way home from church if he wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or turkey and cheese and he said "no...blow out candles". I kept having to explain that AFTER his nap it would be time for his party. He had a blast though and I can't believe that he is already 3!!! It makes me so happy to see him love his friends so much and play so hard!! I love you Braylen!!!

Waiting for Nana to cut the cake!!

Playing with his friend Jones

Aunt Joy and Uncle Jacob got Bray and microphone for his birthday and he is already a rockstar!!!

A Day At The Beach!!!

A few pictures from the kiddos playing on the beach. The love playing in the sand but I think Sarah got a little tired after all that playing!! Enjoy the pictures!

Happy Birthday Braylen!!!!

Braylen is 3!!!! I can't believe it! He is growing and changing so fast. Where have the past 3 years gone? Josh and I were talking about what if the next 3 years go by just as fast? He will be in his first year of school!! Wow! It seams unreal!! He has been such a blessing to us and we couldn't ask for a better little boy!! I am so glad that he enjoyed his Birthday!

We are at the beach for a good friends wedding and we were able to celebrate Braylen's 3rd Birthday here. He has had so much fun! We went swimming when we got here. The water is a little too COLD though. We went to dinner at LuLu's with Nana and Pop and came back to the condo and had cake and opened his birthday gifts. Here are some pictures of "Braylen's Day!!"

Two of my friends came by to have some cake and say hello and Braylen was so excited and was "FLIRTING" with them. I know...he is 3 and shouldn't be flirting yet, but he was. When it was time for them to leave he tried to open the door for them and was telling them bye and night night. When they left he watched them walk off through the glass door and said...get ready for this......"Pretty, Pretty Girls!" What?!?! I almost fell out of my chair! He turns 3 and is now thinking about girls?!?! I think he is a little young!! Oh well...At least he has good taste! haha
